- Rapid Ideation & Prototyping: Take projects from concept through ideation to final product with a focus on 3D modeling, technical art, and mechanical design.
- Collaboration: Work with Art Directors, Design Leads, and other partners to create assets that meet creative and production standards.
- Product Development: Utilize your expertise in 3D printing to produce high-fidelity models, setting up files for printing, sculpting printed models, and maintaining equipment.
- Technical Design: Prepare detailed technical packets to communicate designs effectively to manufacturers, ensuring all prototypes meet functional and aesthetic criteria.
- 3D Pipeline Mastery: Work across the full 3D pipeline, from conceptual sketches to 3D models, renders, mechanical files, and 3D-printed prototypes.
- Quality Control & Efficiency: Maintain expertise in 3D printing and manufacturing processes, ensuring high standards of quality and process efficiency.
- Adaptability: Quickly adapt to new tools, techniques, and feedback to enhance creative solutions. Be open to critique and eager to improve skills and workflows.
- Workflow Documentation: Write and maintain documentation for processes, workflows, and tools to ensure streamlined operations.
- 5+ Years Experience in Industrial Design or related field, with a strong portfolio showcasing 3D modeling and surfacing skills (preferably in consumer goods).
- Expertise in 3D modeling, mechanical design, and technical art.
- Deep Experience in 3D Printing, from file setup to sculpting and equipment maintenance.
- Proficiency with industry-standard software including Photoshop, Maya, Blender, Modo, Zbrush, SolidWorks, Fusion 360, and Rhino.
- Detail-Oriented and highly organized, with an ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of user experience, ensuring that products are functional, aesthetically pleasing, and aligned with product briefs.
- Collaborative with the ability to work seamlessly with internal teams and cross-functional partners.
- A creative problem solver who thrives on developing new ideas and solutions, while also adapting to feedback.

This role is pivotal in helping us rapidly design, prototype, and assemble products in-house—transforming concepts into tangible, high-quality results that exceed client expectations.
As a 3D Artist at Bakery, you’ll be responsible for developing projects from initial ideation and concept through to the final product, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail at every stage. You’ll collaborate closely with our Art Directors, Design Leads, Strategists, and cross-functional teams to push creative boundaries while adhering to product goals.
