- Perform accurate and timely transactions in SAP S/4HANA to support fulfillment between our 3PL partners and Port Allen Distribution Center (PADC).
- Monitor inventory levels and identify potential out-of-stock risks, taking proactive steps to resolve them.
- Maintain and update master data, including SKUs, lead times, and new product setups.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and generate variance reports for affected SKUs and locations.
- Support inventory accuracy by participating in cycle counts, physical counts, and reconciliation efforts.
- Track inventory aging and assist with coordinating product rotation to reduce waste and maintain freshness.
- Review and verify EDI transactions (e.g., receipts, picks, transfers) for accuracy and completeness.
- Coordinate closely with customer service and logistics teams to ensure fulfillment readiness.
- Work daily with 3PL providers to support order accuracy, returns, damages, and quarantine activities.
- Review fulfillment metrics such as fill rates, backorders, and slotting utilization to help identify improvement opportunities.
- Communicate directly with 3PL contacts to resolve issues and maintain alignment on operations.
- Support the reconciliation of damages, shortages, and overages related to 3PL shipments.
- Assist with on-site inventory audits and reconciliation in accordance with 3PL contract requirements.
- Collaborate with demand planning to ensure continuous product flow from source to customers.
- Review and process 3PL-related invoices, ensuring accuracy before submitting for payment.
- Maintain the product catalog with 3PL partners, ensuring that pricing, item codes, and product attributes are accurate.
- Evaluate opportunities to improve and streamline inventory and shipping processes to balance storage and freight costs.
- May be asked to perform additional duties, as necessary.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- 2 years of experience in inventory management, 3PL fulfillment, or a similar role using SAP WMS
- This is an ON-SITE position in Port Allen, LA.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Basic Excel and data analysis skills; experience with BI tools like Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
- Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA or other ERP systems is preferred.
- Internal Only: Experience with Community Coffee, even if unrelated, may fulfill this requirement at the discretion of the hiring manager with approval from Human Resources.

- Field Sales Environment- While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts; in high, precarious places; and in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles; The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but may be moderately loud in warehouse areas.

Position Overview
As a 3PL Fulfillment Specialist, you will support the order fulfillment process for our third-party logistics (3PL) partners by accurately processing submitted orders, managing transactions in SAP, and ensuring inventory accuracy. This role plays a key part in helping to maintain seamless operations between internal teams and external partners, focusing on timely order execution, inventory control, and issue resolution.
