What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Ensure compliance with federal and state laws related to food safety and various audit scheme requirements
- Coordinate and execute all aspects of the audit process
- Maintain accredited auditor status and achieve additional accreditations as needed
- Conduct technical reviews of accredited audits
- Attend annual informational and monthly calibration meetings
What is Required (Qualifications):
- BA or BS degree in food-related or bioscience discipline
- Minimum 5 years of experience in food manufacturing
- Recognized HACCP Training completion with certificate issued
- Registered BRC, FSSC 22000, SQF, GFCP, or FAMI-QS Auditor
- Strong interpersonal skills and detail-oriented with documentation
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in post-farm gate auditing
- Strong time management skills and ability to work independently
- Excellent technical writing ability and problem-solving skills
