Job Description
- Req#: 31656
- Answers, screens and directs telephone calls and takes appropriate action.
- Files, types and provides clerical support to the Distribution manager.
- Audits our freight billing process (FTS).
- Prices daily trucking activity and monitors costs.
- Monitors and provides feedback for daily reporting compliance for all Distribution Locations.
- Compiles and generates daily, weekly and monthly traffic related reports.
- Maintains information files.
- Composes correspondence and reports for management as necessary.
- Enters data into Scheduling Program and other related databases as necessary.
- Assists with special projects.
- High School/GED.
- Certified Computer Skills.
- Successful candidate must be fluent in the English language and possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Math Skills must be above average (must be able to audit and calculate freight bills).
- This position requires the ability to work independently and to exercise good judgment. The successful candidate must be a self-starter and be proactive.
