Job Summary

Always Best Care Senior Services - Oahu is currently seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant/Nursing Assistant to join our team on Kauai. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, requiring 40 hours per week. The successful candidate will be working with seniors in their homes and providing necessary healthcare services.

Compensation & Benefits

The successful candidate will be compensated hourly, between $18 and $20 per hour, paid weekly. In addition, employees may be eligible for medical/dental insurance, 401K opportunities, life insurance coverage, and other benefits.

Workplace Selection: Multiple facilities to choose from, select a workplace/ Clients that suit your preferences

Responsibilities

-Provide personal care and hygiene assistance, which may include helping with bathing and dressing.

-Observe and report changes in residents’ health status and report health concerns to medical staff.

-Work with medical staff and other caregivers to ensure that the residents receive the highest-quality care

-Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

-Attend and participate in in-services and staff meetings.

Requirements

-Must have a minimum of 8 hours of Certified Nursing Assistant/Nursing Assistant training.

-Must have current CNA/NA certification from the State of Hawaii or be eligible for certification.

-Must have a valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.

-Knowledge of medical terminology, basic health care procedures, and HIPAA compliance.

-Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.

-Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and push wheelchairs/walkers.

-Must adhere to the protocol of the company as laid out by the Senior Services Department.
