Description POSITION TITLE: Cafeteria/Playground Assistant

REPORTS TO: 4th & 5th Grade Building Principal

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 2.5 hours per day/5 days a week, beginning 2024-2025 school year

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Experience with children.
• Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with others as part of a
team.
• Must have good organizational skills, maintain confidentiality and be flexible.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Supervise and monitor students in the cafeteria and surrounding areas
• Establish and maintain a safe and cooperative attitude in the cafeteria
• Understand and enforce the cafeteria rules and procedures
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Principal

• PA State Police Clearance (Act 34)
• Child Abuse Clearance (Act 151)
• FBI Fingerprint Clearance (Act 114)
• School Personnel Health Form (Physical and TB test)
• PDE 6004 Form (Act 24)
• Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Release Form(s) (Act 168)
