    • Description: 4th/5th Grade teacher

      Job Summary: We are looking for dynamic 4th and 5th grade teachersr (2 positions to fill) to join our St. Malachy School team. This role entails running a 4th or 5th grade homeroom and sharing departmental teaching duties with the 4th/5th grade team of teachers. We are located in the Medical District of Chicago, near the Bulls United Center.

      Qualifications:
      Bachelor's degree or higher
      Current Ilinois Professional Educator License
      Provide an excellent education using a variety of strategies and methods to meet the needs of each student
      Work collaboratively with the 4th/5th team on a daily basis and the entire faculty throughout the school year
      Participate in professional development opportunities and share in the planning for achieving academic goals
      Coordinate with resource team to provide support for students who may be below or above grade level expectations
