      Salary: Base Salary ranges from $62,100 to $102,300, commensurate with experience. Detailed compensation information for newly hired teachers is available in our Initial Instructional Salary Level Placement Guide 2024-2025.

      Eligibility for Florida certification is required. FL certification in Social Science (Grades 6-12) is a prerequisite for teaching in field. The Bureau of Educator Certification has developed instructional videos to guide applicants through the certification process, covering topics such as Florida’s Online Educator Certification System Set-up and the Florida Teacher Certification Application.
