About the Position:The Division of Administration and Finance serves as the backbone of the CSUF campus, managing a wide array of operations from maintaining and enhancing university buildings and grounds to providing important business support services. Campus beautification, classroom improvements, and technological advancements, continue to be a priority as we enhance the learning environment and facilities. It is the mission of the Division to provide customer-focused administrative support and steward our physical and financial resources in order to fulfill the university’s mission and support student success. Partnership with our diverse campus community and its many stakeholders are important in helping our operations provide excellent customer service and results. We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our Accounts Payable team as the Senior Business Analyst (Administrative Analyst/Specialist - Exempt II). Under the general supervision of the Director, Accounts Payable and Travel, the Senior Business Analyst is responsible for the functional and technical support of the Accounts Payable (AP) processes and the travel and expense program in Concur. The primary responsibilities include: works closely with internal customers to ensure the integrity of the data stored in the AP application and Concur; participates in CFS and Concur testing; partners with the Division of Information Technology to develop solutions to meet campus needs; provides Concur training to campus users at all levels to ensure Travel Requests and Expense Reports submitted are accurate and in compliance with CSUF policies and procedures; and assists with 1099 reporting, running queries and reports for audits, and other reporting requests. Interfaces with the general user base, ensure the campus AP/travel policy is maintained, and address user questions related to CFS and Concur processes as well as tool functionality. Serves as the subject matter expert and help with user inquiries and follow-ups by troubleshooting errors. As a member of the AP/Travel Team, supports efforts in promoting an inclusive environment of teamwork and contributes towards ensuring diversity, equity, and inclusion are incorporated in department operations, programs, and services. Represents the AP/Travel Team in campus events and provide excellent customer service to supporting the needs of the campus community. Essential Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university and/or the equivalent training and administrative work experience involving the study, analysis, evaluation, development or improvement of administrative policies, procedures, practices or programs plus four years of related experience. Working knowledge of and the ability to apply standard theories, principles, practices, and techniques applicable to the program and/or administrative specialty to develop conclusions and make recommendations. Thorough knowledge of the policies, procedures, and outside regulations pertaining to the applicable program and/or administrative specialty. Working knowledge of operational and fiscal analysis and techniques. Ability to take initiative and plan, organize, coordinate, and perform work in various situations where numerous and diverse demands are involved. Skilled in the research, development, and evaluation of policies and programs. Ability to collect, evaluate, and interpret data to develop sound conclusions and make appropriate recommendations. Expertise in investigating and analyzing problems with broad administrative impact and implications. Ability to anticipate problems, address them proactively, and develop appropriate recommendations leading to solutions. Demonstrated ability to effectively interpret, organize, and present information and ideas in written or presentation form and use consultative and facilitation skills to gain consensus. Ability to train others on new skills and procedures and provide lead work direction. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both orally and in writing. Ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with others.

Preferred Qualifications
Full life cycle Concur implementation experience and/or several years of Concur maintenance experience. Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and communication skills. Ability to translate needs and analyze data. Ability to provide excellent customer services to end-users in a diverse, inclusive, and equitable environment. Self-motivated and works independently and as part of a team. Working experience in higher education or public agencies.
