  Position Opening: Part-Time Middle School Teacher (Grades 5/6)

  Saint Cecilia Catholic School is a joyful, faith-filled PreK–8 Catholic school located Bainbridge Island. Candidates must be knowledgeable of and experienced in working with primary school students. This position is a co-teaching self-contained classroom teaching all subjects including Religion, Math, Reading, Language Arts and Social Studies. Teachers are supported with specialists, teaching weekly classes in Music, Active Spanish and PE. The candidate must know and provide quality lessons, including the learning standards and developmental stages of middle school children, as well as be adept in providing differentiated instruction to meet the needs of all students. The teacher must also practice good communication skills with students, their parents, and other faculty and staff.
  
  Compensation: $40,000 to $50,000 based on candidate experiences and skills in relation to the job description and the mission of the school. This position is not eligible for benefits.]
  Any offering of salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, applicant skills and prior relevant experience, degrees, and certifications.
  
  We are seeking a part-time middle school teacher to co-teach in a multi-age 5th/6th grade classroom beginning in the 2025–2026 school year. This is a unique opportunity to join a collaborative teaching team in a small-school environment where each student is known, supported, and challenged to grow.
