- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with fluency in both Spanish and English (additional language skills are also advantageous)
- Minimum 6 months of internship experience within M&A, private equity, or another similar role
- Strong academic track record from a highly regarded university – in either penultimate or final year of studies
- Understanding of valuation theory, methodologies and applications
- Strong quantitative, financial and analytical skills
- Ability to work well under pressure with attention to detail
- Good proficiency with MS Office particularly PowerPoint and Excel

Responsibilities
One of the best ways to prepare yourself for your investment banking career is through an internship at Houlihan Lokey. You will have the opportunity to become an integral part of our team, gain meaningful, on-the-job experience, and get to know Houlihan Lokey as a potential future employer.
This internship is an excellent opportunity to work alongside investment bankers in a stimulating environment on various M&A advisory assignments for clients in various industries. Throughout your internship, you will get similar levels of exposure as a first-year Analyst, assisting in the preparation of pitch and other client materials, and conducting market, industry, and company analyses. Furthermore, you will gain experience in financial modelling, and valuation analyses, support the due diligence processes on the buy side and sell side processes and work as part of a project team on live transactions.
