      Who We Are Looking For:

      Phoenix Tailings is looking for a hands-on, dedicated Production Operator to help power our 24/7 production of critical metals in Burlington, MA. As we scale up operations, your work will directly contribute to building the infrastructure needed for tomorrow’s technologies — from electric vehicles to clean energy. We’re seeking individuals who are reliable, safety-focused, and thrive in high-intensity environments like those involving high temperatures, molten materials, or chemical processes. Ideally, this candidate will train and work in our Burlington, MA facility then transfer to our brand-new Rare Earth metal refining facility in Exeter, NH.

      Key Responsibilities:
      • Operate and monitor industrial equipment used in the production of rare earth and critical metals
      • Perform batch processes involving high-temperature furnaces and molten materials
      • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols in a dynamic manufacturing setting
      • Record process data and maintain accurate production logs
      • Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure continuous, safe operation
      • Handle raw materials and finished products in accordance with material handling guidelines
      • Support troubleshooting efforts to resolve equipment and process issues
      • Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times
      • Communicate clearly with team members during shift handoffs and status updates


      Qualifications:
      • Prior experience working in a metal, chemical, or high-temperature industrial environment
      • Ability and willingness to work various shifts as part of a 24/7 production schedule (including nights, weekends, holidays)
      • Strong work ethic and commitment to safety and operational excellence
      • Familiarity with industrial equipment such as furnaces, reactors, mixers, or kilns
      • Comfort working in physically demanding environments (e.g., high heat, protective gear, standing for long periods)
      • Basic mechanical aptitude and understanding of process flow
