- Qualified Paramedic (HCPC registered)
- Entitlement to drive in the UK including vehicles categorised as C1 and D1
- Blue light emergency driving qualified
- Operational Command Qualification (or able to pass/ complete within 6 months of appointment)
- Minimum 1 year (post NQP) experience in a paramedic role
- Experience of effective team leadership and management
- Understanding of the delivery of operational services and achievement of performance targets
- An understanding of implementing policies, procedures and working practices

Job summary
We are currently recruiting for a permanent A&E Team Leader at Bradford Ambulance station. We are seeking Paramedics ideally with experience in similar roles in response-led ambulance services, NHS and A&E Operations experience is essential. Importantly you will have a demonstrable track record of staff mentorship, support and leadership where you have shown the ability to lead a varied team.
To enable us to meet the future needs for our services we have invested significantly in our emergency operations and have embarked on a period of transformation aligning our emergency and urgent care services with those of the wider healthcare economy.
Through this Transformation Programme of "Team Based Working" in which we have restructured our emergency operations leadership team and are seeking further innovative thinkers with strong and inspirational leadership style to take on the exciting and challenging roles of Team Leader.
Main duties of the job
You will bring a structured yet agile approach to planning within your Team which will deliver real benefit to day-to-day operations.
