A Sr. Manager, Accreditation & Regulatory Compliance (ARC) is a subject matter expert for assigned College/program with respect to programmatic, state or institutional accreditation and provides leadership for and management of the accreditation process and/or assigned area of responsibility. An individual advises and guides College internal regulatory committees to achieve specific objectives jointly established within the College and ensure ongoing accreditation for the College. A Sr. Manager, ARC work with department and college leadership to establish, implement and execute a systematic plan for evaluation of compliance with accreditation and compliance requirements, and for monitoring new or changing requirements.
What You’ll Do
1. Serve as the subject matter expert with respect to accreditation requirements for assigned area(s) of responsibility; maintain current knowledge of state board and other regulatory or legal requirements to facilitate timely planning and implementation of new or revised courses, policies and/or procedures to assure ongoing accreditation and regulatory compliance of assigned program(s); serves as a key resource in the academic governance structure, as well as for deans and University leadership, for state board regulatory compliance and approvals.
2. Develop policies and procedures that reflect industry best practice and encourage effective and efficient compliance and regulatory management controls; collaboarate with key stakeholders, including academic affairs staff, campus, regulatory agencies and external organizations as necessary, to ensure all interested parties are appropriately represented.
3. Oversee and ensure accurate and timely filing of annual reports, self-study documents, Assurance Argument, change requests, status updates, and other required reports, notifications, affiliation/field experience agreements, insurance verifications and communication; develop tools to facilitate continual monitoring and ongoing reporting, including gathering and analysis of relevant data.
4. Develop and deliver training and professional development strategies in institutional accreditation for campus personnel, college staff, and faculty; ensure all training is current and relevant to the audience and aligns with overall regulatory compliance strategy.
5. Perform other duties as assigned or apparent.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
• Master's degree
• Four (4) years experience in researching, analyzing and implementing accreditation and regulatory reporting requirements for higher education, requiring strong knowledge of the regulatory and accreditation landscape in higher education and high level of knowledge of specific regulatory standards
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
• High level of conceptual, analytical and strategic thinking to assess, diagnose and recommend courses of action to individuals at various levels within the University
• Able to convey a professional image and effectively represent the organization as appropriate in its relationships with outside communities
• Working knowledge of personal software packages to develop and distribute correspondence and create reports
• Results oriented and able to manage several projects and activities simultaneously
• Excellent negotiation, oral, written and interpersonal communications skills

The annual pay range for this position is $73,400 (minimum), $110,900 (midpoint), and $148,400 (maximum).**Typical hiring range is between the minimum and midpoint of the above pay range.
