      Abrasive Sales Specialist- Arkansas

      The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

      As an Abrasive Sales Specialist for the Abrasives Systems Division, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

      • Driving sales growth and customer retention to exceed sales forecast for Abrasives Systems Division products in the Industrial Marketplace
      • Leading collaboration efforts with local channel partners to execute push/pull programs generating market share gain for 3M Abrasive products.
      • Developing customers and application processes to drive growth of the Abrasives & Tools portfolio.
      • Collaborating with the Abrasives Division marketing, technical service, and leadership team to drive growth programs in the assigned geography
      • Supporting Abrasive Division Business Development Team on strategic ASD growth initiatives
      • Manage and grow pipeline of opportunities, strategic planning for new opportunities, regular business reviews relative to priority markets, key end-user customers and channel partners in the geography

      Company Vehicle

      This position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position

      Your Skills and Expertise

      To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

      • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) and Three (3) years of selling Abrasives and Tools in a private, public, government or military environment

      OR

      • High school diploma (completed and verified prior to start) and (Ten)10 plus years of experience in Industrial Market Sales experience in a private, public, government or military environment

      AND

      • Three (3) years of selling Abrasives and Tools in a private, public, government or military environment
      • Current valid Driver’s License

      Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

      • Proven expertise in Abrasives, tools, and related accessories
      • Experience in Industrial market sales and distribution
      • Experience with Abrasives & Tools specific to industrial safety regulations.
      • Experience in managing complex multi-location key accounts.
      • Experience negotiating contracts and price terms
      • Strong track record of cross-functional collaboration to drive positive customer impact
      • Effective CRM utilization to manage business plan attainment and territory management
      • Ability to lead a cross functional team to deliver customer driven sales results

      Location: Arkansas: Little Rock, Jonesboro

      Territory" Remote Based – Responsible for Arkansas and South East Missouri

      Travel: May include up to 25% domestic

      Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $113,752 - $139,031, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
