What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Coordinate the HEDIS medical record review, including ongoing review of records submitted by providers and the annual HEDIS medical record review
- Participate in meetings with vendors for the medical record collection process
- Collect medical records and reports from provider offices, load data into the HEDIS application, and compare documentation to determine if services have been correctly performed
- Participate in scheduled meetings with various teams and auditors regarding quality and HEDIS review and results
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or equivalency
- 3 years of experience in healthcare
- Basic knowledge and understanding of HEDIS projects
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree
- 1 year of medical record abstraction experience or 3-5 years of experience with HEDIS audits
- 1 year of managed care experience
- Advanced knowledge of HEDIS and NCQA
