Job Description

- You will use systems and reports daily to improve student success, and satisfaction.
- You will deliver upon the Customer Experience (CX) framework in every interaction.
- You will use the Student Engagement Guide to holistically outreach students.
- You will support all newly assigned students using the New Student Orientation guide.
- Demonstrate a warm and engaging approach with a commitment for ongoing development.
- You will review internal communication channels to stay informed and ensure delivery of accurate information.
- Use policies within University Catalog and Employee Handbook to best support students.
- You will establish long-term relationships with students navigating their academic journey.
- Track student information across multiple software systems.
- Help with commencement ceremonies and reception events.
- Attendance, punctuality, consistency are essential functions of this role.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
- Conferred Bachelor's degree
- Higher education, advising, admissions, or sales experience.
- Customer service, tutoring, coaching, or counseling experience.
- Willingness to grow in a feedback rich environment by connecting with peers and supervisors.
- 4 Day Shifts: Monday - Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or the 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. in your time zone.
- 1 Evening Shift: Friday 12:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. every week in your time zone.
- 1 Weekend Shift per term: Every 8 to 10 weeks.

The Academic Advisor serves as the student's connection to the SNHU community. Our advising model focuses on engagement with our online students to deliver a world-class level of leadership that positively impacts every learner we serve.
