The Paul-André Crépeau Centre for Private and Comparative Law is looking for a candidate to fill a part-time position of Academic Associate/Assistant Director within its team. This is a management role carried out in close collaboration with the Centre’s codirectors.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Conducting research in private and comparative law to support the scientific programing of future events and projects;
• Coordinating the Centre’s activities and projects, excluding the Dictionary project;
• Supervising research assistants not affiliated with the Dictionary project;
• Preparing grant applications;
• Drafting interim and final activity reports for university bodies and funding agencies;
• Coordinating the preparation of various publications, including the Centre’s Website, social media and collective works;
• Performing a variety of administrative tasks as needed and according to the candidate’s skills.
Contract length: June 1, 2025 to June 1, 2026 (20 hours per week)
Qualifications Required:
- Master's degree in law;
- Strong command of French and English;
- Interest in legal research;
- Member of the Chambre des notaires du Québec (an asset).

Salary will commensurate with qualifications and experience.
