Job Description

Lincoln Tech's East Point, GA campus is looking to appoint an Academic Dean, who will further develop and enhance our training courses, and provide vision, strategic direction and leadership to our esteemed faculty members and students.

To further Lincoln's objective of achieving the optimum level of student success, you would recruit, develop, and manage a team to enhance existing, and develop new, curricula and programs.

Responsibilities

• Encourage commitment to the vision and core values of Lincoln Tech
• Emphasize strategies that maximize the use of available resources, to consistently strive for quality results and achieve standards of excellence
• Make effective decisions and support implementation and evaluation of programs and policies
• Assist in budget preparation by forecasting trends and potential requirements
• Contribute to curriculum development and implementation
• Encourage and support faculty development, training, onboarding, and evaluations
• Focus on faculty recruitment, to ensure qualified instructors for all programs
• Maintain appropriate records in compliance with state, accrediting body, and Company policies
• Compile and follow-up on supply and training equipment requests
• Report to the Campus President

Additional Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred)
• 5+ years of management experience in a proprietary trade school or skilled trades environment
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Demonstrated ability to build successful relationships and partner with senior and executive management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to solve problems and issues creatively
• Attention to detail and desire for continuous improvement and innovation
