      The Opportunity

      The Accelerate Program, offers current college sophomore students the chance to discover what it’s like to intern at a leading financial services organization. You will learn about the company, USAA’s brand and mission, and opportunities available across the enterprise. While gaining insight into the service of the military community and USAA’s noble mission, we will introduce you to USAA’s collaborative culture. Spend part of your summer at USAA and learn about career options where you can make a difference!

      This position is based in San Antonio, TX.

      What you'll do:

      • Gain a fundamental understanding of multiple departments through rotational experiences
      • Network and mentor with employees across the company
      • Attend professional development workshops to include: mock interviewing, resume reviews, and personal branding
      • Give back to the community with us during a volunteer event
      • Learn about internship opportunities for summer 2025

      What you need to have:

      To qualify, you must be a sophomore pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business at a 4-year accredited college or university, and plan to graduate between December 2025 and May 2026. Our 2024 Accelerate Program will start on June 3, 2024 and last through June 28, 2024.

      What sets you apart:

      • Foundational level of business acumen in the areas of the business operations, industry practices and emerging trends
      • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business with a concentration of Finance, Accounting, or Risk Management

      What we offer:

      Compensation: USAA has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. The hourly rate for this role is: $19.
