- Baccalaureate degree in a health-related field required
- Masters in Health Services Administration, Business Administrations, Statistics, Health Informatics, or a relevant field is an asset.
- Minimum three years’ experience in health care field required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Experience engaging teams and fostering relationships with leaders, medical staff, clinicians, and stakeholders in a collaborative, participatory manner
- Experience and demonstrated expertise within information systems and data management
- Expert analytical skills and knowledge of other health information data sources and systems
- Excellent report writing and presentation skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and part of a team
- Knowledge of access to care and wait list management strategies
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Manager, Analytics, the Access and Flow Senior Analyst is responsible for ongoing data analysis and reporting at the NSH operational level, utilizing various data sets related to Emergency Health Services, Emergency Department, Inpatient Census, and more. The Analyst is responsible for duties relating to the formulation, development, and creation of dashboards and reports, ensuring database quality and integrity. The Analyst will also play a critical role in collaborating with other analysts and stakeholders within the health care system as Access and Flow spans a broad range of patient care interactions, from hospital arrival to patient discharge. Through this collaboration, they will ensure that information is disseminated and utilized appropriately by decision makers and operational leads within NSH to support high quality patient care, medical and administrative research and education, and planning, while helping us achieve excellence in health, healing and learning through working together.
The Access and Flow Senior Analyst oversees and coordinates production of NSH Access and Flow data and performance indicators by collecting requirements through working with clients at various levels of the organization, sourcing data from multiple systems, and using various tools to build and maintain ongoing reports and dashboards while following patient privacy best practices and standards.

Compensation and Incentives
$36.33 - $45.41 Hourly
