- Produces high-quality content ideas that are engaging and on-point
- Writes original content as assigned by content lead and/or content manager
- Writes script, shoots and edits short-form video on location using phone
- On-camera talent for social media videos
- Observes ethical and brand standards in content
- Works in Access Atlanta content management system (Arc) to publish content
- Produces sponsorship and branded advertising content
- Manages social media accounts to help promote and distribute content
- Creates social content as needed to promote content and initiatives
- Understands digital content, how to frame it for social engagement and how to measure its success
- Selects or sources artwork
- Assists in tracking performance and overall progress to annual goals
- Analyze existing content for potential to increase revenue yield and/or distribution, through tactics such as optimization, headline rewriting, updating evergreen content and adding video
- Strong teamwork, communication and brainstorming
- Good troubleshooting skills and a love of solving problems
- Ability to adapt quickly and seamlessly in an ever-changing environment
- Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated experience in cross-functional collaboration
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Compensation
Hourly base pay rate is $23.17 - $34.81/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY: The Digital Content Producer produces audience-focused content with an emphasis on things to do and entertainment, including both written and video content. The producer will also work closely with the Access Atlanta Social Media Producer to post content across all of the brand’s channels, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube and more.
One day, you might be covering a music festival – attending the event, capturing video and still photography on location, and then editing your work into a 30-second reel – and the next you might be helping package up another producer’s work for posting across our brand channels.
The ideal candidate has social media video experience and will be comfortable working as a “one-person band” — shooting, writing and editing a full short-form video but also working with a full crew in other situations as the on-air reporter in larger productions.
Access Atlanta’s motto is “Our City. Your Experience” and our team is dedicated to highlighting all of the amazing activities and businesses across metro Atlanta. You must have reliable transportation and will spend much of your time on locations, reporting and shooting – with one day per week in our Sandy Springs office.
Duty: Create original content for Access Atlanta (80%)
Duty: Assist with production and distribution of social media content (20%)
Education
Bachelor’s degree in related field and up to 2 years of experience
OR 4 years of experience with no formal degree.
