      Basic Job Function:

      To assist Sea Island Members, residents, homeowners, guests, domestic providers, employees and contractors with access needs to Sea Island Properties.

      Minimum Requirements:

      • Minimum one year previous experience in Security preferred
      • Proficient in Windows XP and Microsoft software application such as : Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
      • Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal
      • Must possess a positive attitude and have the ability to work with a variety of people and in cooperation with coworkers efficiently and effectively
      • Must have the patience and the ability to deal with problems involving several variable in changing situations
      • Must be detail oriented and able to manage completing priorities in a fast paced environment
      • Ability to easily adapt to organizational and environmental changes
      • Must be flexible to work days, early morning, evenings weekends, and holidays
      • Ability to exercise good judgment, initiative, cooperation and discretion
      • Ability to multi-task
      • Ability to work with minimal supervision
      • Current CPR/AED certification
      • Valid GA Driver’s License

      Tasks/Responsibilities:

      • Answer telephone and respond to caller’s request for assistance. Refer routine calls to appropriate individuals or departments as required
      • Process applications for members, employees and contractors. Issue electronic decals or paper passes whichever is applicable
      • Perform verification of Domestic Service Providers and Sea Island Company employees
      • Research weekly events, weddings, etc. and have proper passes ready for distribution
      • Maintain current file system for accurate and efficient record keeping
      • Maintain accuracy and proficiency while using administrative privileges with Gatesure System
      • Process payments using MICROS System
      • Balance and perform EOD reports
      • Assist the Sea Island Main Gate as needed
      • Learn the names and personally recognize our regular Guest and Members
      • Familiarization and compliance with various company policies and procedures
      • Maintain sufficient quantities of office supplies and reorder as needed through office manager
      • Other duties required as directed by superiors
      • Report to work at the schedule time, neatly groomed and clean uniform and following company Dress Code policy
      • Maintain cleanliness and organization in all work areas
      • Attends all schedule employee meetings and brings suggestions for improvement
      • Answer any questions guest, members, and employees may have about Sea Island or the area to the beat of one's ability
      • Uphold appropriate department standards of quality/timing
      • Report all equipment problems and maintenance issues to supervisor
      • Willing and timely execution of other duties as delegated by leadership

      Physical Requirements:

      • Ability to kneel, crouch, squat, climb, stand, sit, balance, bend, push, pull and walk for prolonged period
      • Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal
      • Must have the ability to work for extended time periods in an outdoor environment, including sun, heat, cold, wind, rain, and higher than normal noise levels
      • May be exposed to mechanical, electrical, chemical and fume hazards
      • No visible tattoos, visible body piercing or unnatural hair color or hairstyles per company grooming standards
      • Ability to lift, carry, pull and push up to 30 lbs repeatedly throughout a shift
