What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Act as a patient resource for scheduling and billing inquiries
- Collect and post payments, issue receipts, and reconcile daily deposits
- Conduct insurance verifications and manage authorizations and pre-certifications
- Facilitate comprehensive patient data collection and maintain patient charts
- Perform additional duties to support patient care activities as needed
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma, GED, or formal education equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in registration or scheduling within a healthcare environment
- Strong communication skills and excellent customer service abilities
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology and proficiency with office machines
- Basic computer skills, including keyboard proficiency and telephone etiquette
