What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as a patient resource for scheduling and billing inquiries
- Facilitate comprehensive patient data collection and ensure timely billing
- Collect and post payments, issue receipts, and reconcile daily deposits
- Conduct insurance verifications and manage authorizations and referrals
- Support patient care activities as needed
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent formal education
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in registration or scheduling in healthcare
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in basic computer/keyboarding
- Excellent customer service skills and knowledge of basic medical terminology
- Ability to operate office machines, including printers and scanners
