What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as a patient resource for scheduling and billing inquiries
- Facilitate comprehensive patient data collection and ensure timely billing
- Conduct insurance verification, benefits explanation, and pre-authorizations
- Collect and post payments, issue receipts, and reconcile daily deposits
- Support patient care activities by performing various administrative duties as needed
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent formal education
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in registration or scheduling in a healthcare environment
- Strong communication skills and knowledge of office machines
- Excellent customer service abilities
- Basic understanding of medical terminology
