What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Drive strategic business expansion and collaboration opportunities with major U.S. cancer centers and clinics
- Structure detailed strategic plans for gaining and retaining new and existing clients
- Maximize client-bill contracting opportunities and implement laboratory services agreements
- Analyze the competitive landscape and provide customer feedback to leadership
- Develop and implement a comprehensive business plan for the territory, including budgets and goal setting
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 2-3 years of direct account management experience in a molecular diagnostic setting
- 3-5 years of experience working with major cancer centers, oncology GPOs, and large health systems
- Proven track record of measurable revenue generation in a diagnostic, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology company
- Strong understanding of molecular diagnostics for oncology and the competitive landscape
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- B.S. in life science, biology, business, or marketing preferred
- Experience engaging in a consultative selling process with executive-level clients
- Familiarity with the payor and reimbursement environment in oncology diagnostics
- Proficiency with Salesforce.com and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively
