What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Drive sales growth and market share for the Total Alcon IOL portfolio in designated territory
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in surgical departments
- Provide comprehensive customer support for cataract clients, coordinating specialist activities
- Conduct market analysis and monitor competitor activities to inform business strategy
- Initiate and drive local events to meet customer needs and generate demand
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Sales experience in medical devices and/or pharmaceutical environments within a surgical context
- Proven consultative selling experience in B2B settings, preferably in high-end medical devices
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both technical and interpersonal
- Strong problem-solving abilities and business acumen
- General understanding of surgical techniques and relevant medical knowledge
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in ophthalmology is advantageous but not mandatory
- Familiarity with cataract consumables, equipment, diagnostics, and visualization is desirable
- Ability to utilize budget impact models and demonstrate value concepts
