      Inviting applications for the role of Accountant, Commercial Accounting – Domain Trainee – Swedish – Remote EMEA

      The Full-Time Staff Accountant, Commercial Accounting position is responsible for providing tactical and analytical support for financial close which primarily includes Oil Liquids and Natural Gas (predominantly in the US). This role will work closely with core accounting and commercial accounting department and primarily be responsible for supporting the month end close process through journal entries and general ledger account analysis.

      Responsibilities

        • Assist with the month end close process.
        • Complete various accounting duties such as daily cash posting, bank reconciliations, and other general ledger reconciliations on a monthly basis.
        • Prepare sales tax returns for multiple states.
        • Assist in preparing monthly and weekly inventory reconciliations.
        • Liaison with internal and external auditors and assist in audits by gathering and summarizing requested documentation.
        • Prepare bio certificates for external parties.
        • Assist with terminal reconciliations.
        • Work on special projects as needed.

      Minimum Qualifications

        • Bachelor’s Degree (BS, BA, etc.) in Finance or Accounting
        • Minimum years of releven experience
        • Must understand the flow of information, interaction of systems (ETRM and ERP) and be vocal in highlighting areas of issues and concerns.

      Preferred Qualifications

        • Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
