      Job Title: Accountant

      Job Summary:

      The Accountant supports the Corporate Accounting department with the monthly close process and other routine accounting functions. This includes preparing journal entries and account reconciliations, investigating variances or unexpected results, and collaborating with others to find creative solutions to challenges and issues. This role involves partnering with other teams in the Controllership and Finance departments, including Treasury, Tax, and FP&A.

      This role will receive support and supervision from the Manager, Corporate Accounting and others within the Controllership and Finance departments. The ideal candidate will also have the ability to work independently when appropriate and exercise sound judgement when assignments have been delegated.

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Assist with the monthly, quarterly and annual close process for corporate functions and corporate holding companies ensuring all financial information is accurately reflected in the general ledger and in compliance with GAAP
      • Perform account reconciliations and investigate significant variance or unexpected results and maintain appropriate support
      • Prepare journal entries
      • Perform flux analysis of significant accounts as necessary
      • Assist in the consolidation process of financial statements
      • Summarize support schedules submitted by various business units
      • Perform preliminary research for guidance on technical accounting issues if necessary
      • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and build strong working relationships
      • Utilize new tools/technology to solve issues/improve processes/create efficiencies
      • Assist with preparing documents and responding to requests from the Company’s external auditor as necessary
      • Identify and implement process improvements, leveraging technology and automation
      • Conduct ad hoc analysis as needed

      Qualifications and Skillsets:

      • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
      • CPA or CPA track required; MBA a plus
      • 2+ years of relevant experience in public accounting or industry within accounting function
      • Working knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls
      • Public accounting/audit experience a plus
      • Experience with Oracle ERP (NetSuite) a plus
      • Experience with general ledger and financial reporting systems
      • Familiarity with multi-entity structures, intercompany transactions, and foreign currency translation
      • Strong proficiency in Excel and comfort using accounting technology/ tools
      • Effective at building strong relationships across departments
      • Works effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple competing deadlines
      • Possess agility and can adapt quickly to changing priorities
      • Strong organizational skills and attention to accuracy and detail
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
      • Analytical mindset and critical thinker
      • Utilize creative problem-solving skills

      Physical Demands:

      • Remote work environment with extensive computer use.
      • Travel is generally not required.
      • Flexibility to work evenings/weekends during close cycles as needed

      Salary may vary depending on factors such as confirmed job-related skills, experience, and location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.

      However, the pay range for this position is as follows. Sales Positions are eligible for a Variable Incentive

      $53,300.00-$76,200.00
