What does a successful Accountant in our DACH desk do?

You will be working in our team being responsible for German/Austrian entities in terms of accounting duties.

What you will do:

• registration of various accounting transactions and documents in Finance ERP system: (mainly Oracle) in accordance with Fiserv standards and policies;
• participation in month-end/year-end activities and processes;
• recording documents and transactions in the ERP system in following areas: e.g. intercompany,cash management, travel expenses, prepaid expenses, fixed assets;
• clearing bank accounts and confirmation of intercompany balances within the group;
• reconciling GL accounts balances and verification of completeness of accounting documents;
• supporting SAP S/4Hana implementation.

What you will need to have:

• understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Policies);
• knowledge of finance-related applications – Oracle is a must; SAP will be an asset;
• fluent English (written and spoken – B2),
• at least 2 years experience within GL Team;
• experience in SSC-environment;
• previous exposure to working in/for German-speaking environments.
