- Provide accurate, timely, and relevant recording, reporting and analysis of financial information 
- Document financial transactions and prepare financial reports and entries by analyzing account information 
- Ensure compliance and security by following applicable standards and internal controls 
- Build business partner confidence through effective communication and appropriately handling sensitive financial information 
- Support implementation of new accounting policies and guidelines 
- Able to communicate difficult concepts in a simple manner 
- Participate in projects and assignments of diverse scope 
- Strong financial acumen, including accounting and finance experience with a thorough understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), general ledger accounting, and account reconciliation 
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel and an aptitude for accounting software and financial systems 
- Superior written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate and interact across teams and at varying levels of management 
- Present problem analysis and recommended solutions in a creative and logical manner 
- Knowledge and understanding of work specific to Accounting
