      Job Description

      We are seeking an experienced accountant to join our dynamic team. This role involves managing and optimizing the accounts payable cycle, assisting in month-end close processes, and collaborating with employees and vendors to streamline credit card submissions and expense report processing. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting financial operations and maintaining accurate financial records.

      Responsibilities

      • Manage and optimize the accounts payable cycle, ensuring timely and accurate recording of vendor invoices, expense reports, and credit card submissions.
      • Assist in the month-end close process, including preparing journal entries, financial statements, and balance sheet reconciliations.
      • Collaborate with employees and vendors to streamline credit card submissions and expense report processing.
      • Support the processing of checks, wires, electronic funds transfers, and daily bank reconciliations.
      • Maintain accurate records in our electronic invoice filing system and manage W9 documentation in partnership with Accounting and Procurement teams.
      • Assist with state and local tax filings and other statutory requirements.

      Essential Skills

      • Proficiency in accounting and accounts payable management.
      • Strong skills in accounts receivable, month-end close processes, and journal entry preparation.
      • Experience in financial statement preparation and reconciliation.
      • CPA certification.
      • 3-5 years of demonstrated accounting experience in accounts payable management, general ledger accounting, and financial reporting in the manufacturing, energy, or technology industry.
      • Knowledge of current GAAP and regulatory requirements.

      Additional Skills & Qualifications

      • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
      • Experience partnering with operations is an advantage.

      Work Environment

      This position is onsite daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Everett. The work environment is collaborative, focused on innovation, and offers the opportunity to be part of a mission-driven team working towards creating unlimited clean electricity.

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $42.00/hr.
