Job Description

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or other related technical discipline required.
- CPA (or CPA eligible) preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in Accounting required.
- Big Four or large regional accounting firm experience preferred.
- SEC reporting experience preferred.
- Experience with complex general ledger typically found in a mid to large sized organization preferred.
- Solid accounting and financial reporting knowledge.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft office suite required.
- Advanced spreadsheet skills preferred.
- Experience with Workiva or similar SEC reporting software preferred.
- Fluent in English, both oral and written required.
- High degree of attention to details and self-review.
- Excellent analytical, organizational and project management skills.
- Dedicated, dependable with the commitment to put in additional effort as required to meet critical deadlines.
- Flexible, team oriented and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to deal with confidential material in a professional and discreet manner.
- Active participation in preparation of financial reports, earnings releases, and SEC filings on Form 10-K and 10-Q, including XBRL tagging.
- Compiles 10-Q / 10-K support schedules and footnotes, coordinates information from others and maintains support that ties to the final report.
- Preparation of non-GAAP reconciliations and disclosures.
- Preparation of US GAAP and SEC disclosure checklists and draft new disclosures as needed.
- Works with independent auditors for their audit and reviews of SEC filings.
- Performs research/analysis and prepares accounting memos, as requested.
- Completes ad hoc requests for financial information. Participates in special projects, as requested.
- Regularly communicates with manager work progress, concerns and questions.
- Assistance with accurate and timely completion of Forms 10-K and 10-Q to meet SEC reporting requirements.
- Effective and efficient maintenance of tie-out support electronically.
- Timely execution of communication and dissemination of SEC, SOX and other relevant information.
- Maintain and enhance knowledge of GAAP, SEC, SOX, XBRL and MD&A rules and regulations.
- Effectual, proficient support of accounting department and various reporting and analytical projects.
- Adherence to all company policies and procedures.

POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for assisting in the preparation of SEC filings, such as Form 10-Q, Form 10-K and quarterly earnings releases, and of technical accounting memos. Accountabilities include coordinating and compiling supporting schedules for quarterly and annual external reporting and maintaining complete tie-out support that agrees to final reports, as well as assisting with research of accounting guidance and external filings. Additional responsibilities include compiling external audit requests; completing ad hoc requests and projects; and additional duties as assigned by manager.
