      Airstream, Inc., a leading manufacturer of recreational vehicles, is currently searching for an Accountant to be located at the division office in Jackson Center, Ohio.

      The position will be responsible for:

      • Performing monthly close process in areas of responsibility, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and related documentation
      • Providing monthly close analysis with insights into financial performance, including identification and investigation of significant variances
      • Monitoring the system of internal accounting controls to insure the safeguarding of company assets and compliance with company policies and procedures
      • Financial analyses and reports in support of sales, manufacturing, supply chain, and product development functions
      • Developing and providing ad-hoc analysis to support business partners and initiatives
      • Assisting with internal and external audit requests
      • Other job duties as required

      We are looking for applicants with an undergraduate degree in accounting and a minimum of 3 to 5 years of post-graduate work experience, preferably with some experience in a manufacturing environment. Public accounting experience preferred but not required.

      Other relevant skills/qualifications include:

      • Certified Public Accountant and/or Certified Management Accountant (or eligible to sit for either exam)
      • Excellent computer skills, including Excel and ERP-related report writing
      • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
      • Familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
      • Experience with both internal and external audits
      • Strong interpersonal, verbal and presentation skills and a proven track record of interfacing with internal customers across a range of functional areas
      • Experience and comfort with a fast-paced, complex and changing work environment, with the ability to manage multiple and shifting priorities simultaneously, with an orientation toward delivering results
      • Assertive, flexible, team-oriented, and able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality

      This position reports to the Airstream Financial Controller and is part of the Airstream Finance and Accounting team.
