      Accountant, Mosaic Financial Support Team (MOFS)

      PO4: Starting salary, £48,063 per annum, rising in annual increments to £51,099

      Secondment / Fixed Term (6 Months)

      A fixed term post for a period of six months has been approved for an accountant to work within the Mosaic Financial Support Team (MOFS). The MOFS team is currently a small team of 2 Accountants and a Group Manager who provide day to day Mosaic finance support, manage multiple ad hoc tasks and short to medium term projects.

      The primary task of MOFS is to maintain the integrity of the financial data held in Mosaic to provide accurate information for decision making by ACS and CSC.

      We would expect that any candidate will have sound generic accounting skills as described in the Accountant JD attached and have a good working knowledge of the Mosaic application and systems such as Oracle, Excel, Word, Visio.

      The primary task of MOFS is to maintain the integrity of the financial data held in Mosaic to provide accurate information for decision making by ACS and CSC.

      The main tasks are shown below, but MOFS can be involved in any ad hoc tasks within the scope of Mosaic,

      Management and processing of DIY requests received from:

      • ACS Brokerage and Commissioning
      • CSC Payments and Commissioning
      • Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
      • Preparation of Budget Monitoring Reports
      • Maintenance and updating of financial data held in Mosaic.
      • Short Term to Medium Projects – current projects
      • Flexible purchase orders
      • Social Care Charging Reforms
      • Code restructure within Mosaic
      • Mosaic Upgrades
