      Archer is an aerospace company based in San Jose, California building an all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft with a mission to advance the benefits of sustainable air mobility. We are designing, manufacturing, and operating an all-electric aircraft that can carry four passengers while producing minimal noise.

      What You’ll Do:

      • Assist with monthly and quarterly close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of financial results.
      • Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations for assigned general ledger accounts including cash, credit cards, travel expenses, and outside contractors.
      • Review supplier onboarding documents to ensure completeness and accuracy of data entered into the system.
      • Perform monthly variance analysis and develop a strong understanding of financial data in the context of broader business operations.
      • Maintain documentation and accounting policies to strengthen internal controls to align with SOX requirements.
      • Collaborate cross-functionally with business partners such as Accounts Payable, Supply Chain, and Finance to establish best practices and drive continuous process improvement.
      • Participate in process improvement projects to enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of close-related processes.

      What You Need:

      • 2+ years of related experience
      • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
      • Strong Excel skills
      • Detail oriented and highly organized and high degree of initiative
      • Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills needed to develop collaborative working relationships with other departments
      • Ability to understand problems quickly and make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment
      • Excellent technical accounting skills with a detailed understanding of current US GAAP

      Bonus Qualifications:

      • Big 4 and/or Public Company experience is a plus
      • ERP (SAP or Oracle) systems experience is a plus
      • CPA is a plus
      • Experience with Blackline accounts reconciliation software
      • Experience with system implementations and UAT testing

Actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
