      Accountant with Greek

      We are currently looking for an Accountant with Greek and English to join our EMEA Shared Services center team.

      Main Activities and key tasks:
      • Process, verify, code supplier invoices as per agreed timing.
      • Reconcile and clear supplier accounts, research and resolve discrepancies or other payment issues with vendors.
      • Handle vendor payments.
      • Prepare all AP, AR and General Ledger journals and ensure their accuracy, correct authorization and maintenance of relevant supporting evidence.
      • Close liaise with the Business Unit to ensure a good understanding of business developments.
      • Reviews accruals, reconciliations and analysis of the company accounts on a monthly basis and ensures their timely preparation.
      • Support month end closing activities.

      Requirements:
      • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field.
      • Min 2-3 years experience in accounting.
      • Greek – A2/B1.
      • English – minimum B2.
      • Attention to details and accuracy, self-motivated and organized.
      • Ability to assess, recommend and implement process improvements.
      • Team player and deadline oriented.
      • Excellent analytical skills.
      • Curious, Proactive and willing to take initiatives.
      • Excellent Organization, methodical and decision-maker skills.
      • Ability to anticipate and adapt.
      • Ability to effectively work across multiple functions.
      • Previous experience with shared service centers is an advantage.
      • Excellent knowledge of MS office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
      • Previous experience with ERP where SAP experience is an advantage.
