Job Description
- Req#: 2463
- Oversight of accounts payable processes, running weekly payment processes, and managing vendor data
- Maintenance of accounts payable system
- Assist in preparation of quarterly and annual regulatory filings
- Coordination and oversight of the Company’s quarterly account reconciliation process
- Provide corporate banking support
- Assist in developing and implementing process improvements
- Work closely with all members of the Corporate Finance team, including the Directors and Controller, Vice President
- Post-secondary education with emphasis on accounting and/or business administration
- Demonstrated skill with general accounting concepts
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make decisions and judgement calls
- Demonstrated technical knowledge of accounting systems and processes
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
- Intermediate level skills with MS Office, particularly Excel and OneNote
- Familiarity with PeopleSoft is an asset

Term: Full-Time Permanent
Work Arrangements: This is a hybrid role. You will work in our office in Waterloo, ON a minimum of two (2) assigned, consecutive days every other week, plus a fifth (5th) assigned day per month. You are welcome to work from the office more than the minimum requirement and there may be some roles that are required to work in our office more than the minimum requirement.
The Opportunity: The Corporate Finance team is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual that is eager to learn more about entity level operations and controls.
