      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Manage contract invoicing processes, including preparation, submission, and reconciliation through WAWF and customer portals
      - Prepare and post journal entries for revenue, receivables, and accruals to ensure accurate financial reporting
      - Conduct monthly close functions, including reconciliations of general ledger accounts and AR aging reviews
      - Maintain accurate electronic contract files and ensure proper recording of customer payments
      - Provide financial insights and training on billing, invoicing cycles, and funding utilization

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Minimum 5 years of hands-on accounting experience with a strong understanding of full-cycle bookkeeping
      - Experience in a government contracting environment with knowledge of FAR and SCA requirements
      - Proficiency in accounting software (Sage Intacct, Sage 100, or similar) and mid to expert level Microsoft Excel skills
      - Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail and deadlines
      - Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities across accounting functions

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Familiarity with WAWF, GSA, and customer portals for invoicing processes
      - Experience in developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for accounting functions
      - Knowledge of DOL wage determinations and SCA guidelines for equitable wage adjustments
      - Previous experience in audit support and preparation for annual reviews
      - Understanding of fixed asset tracking and reconciliation processes
