  Your day-to-day work will include:

  The Accounting and Finance Specialist will work alongside accomplished professionals and gain valuable skills while supporting the day-to-day accounting functions. Additionally, you will learn how we use various accounting applications and tools. The Accounting & Finance Specialist will assist in all areas of Aeyon Accounting and Finance. Primary areas of responsibility will be the accounts payable and receivable process. Assist accounting team in various areas and ad-hoc/special projects.

  • Support Accounts Payable in processing various accounting transactions
  • Support in processing invoices and billing
  • Assist in preparing reports and analytic spreadsheets.
  • Perform special projects across functional areas of corporate finance/accounting.
  • Prepare recurring account reconciliations and reporting deliverables.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  Experience Requirements:

  0 – 2 years relevant experience- Entry Level position

  Additional Requirements :

  • To be a strong candidate for an Accounting and finance specialist, you should possess an understanding of accounting and financial principles and a positive attitude.
  • To be a strong candidate for an Accounting Internship, you should be eager to learn and be a team player.
  • Local candidate to work out of Tysons HQ office.
  • Experience in using Excel
  • Curious, self-driven, and analytical
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
  • Must be enrolled in an accounting or finance degree program or a fresh graduate.

  Who’s eligible?

  Work hours:

  Here at Aeyon we believe in creating an environment that fosters a healthy work/ life balance. The typical day consists of a 9-5 Monday-Friday work schedule totaling 40 hours per week, but we do realize that life happens, and things come up. Many of our positions allow some flexibility in the work schedule for unforeseen events so that our employees can maintain a 40-hour work week and still have the opportunity to meet other obligations during the workday.

  Security Clearance:

  For most positions at Aeyon, a candidate must have or be able to obtain a company sponsored security clearance. A security clearance is like a background check. It is required for individuals who are hired for US government jobs or any organization that handles information pertaining to national security. The security clearance process ensures your ability to securely access, manage, and protect classified information. Although the security clearance process involves several stages, the key steps to obtaining and maintaining a security clearance are pre-investigation, investigation, adjudication, and reinvestigation.
