- Lead and Mentor: Help lead and mentor a team of accounting associates, fostering growth and development.
- Support Daily Operations: Assist the manager with day-to-day personnel operations and ensure smooth accounting functions.
- Oversee Financial Processes: Coordinate daily, month-end, and quarterly accounting operations, including reconcilement reviews and report preparation.
- Ensure Accuracy: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports, and review accounting policies and procedures.
- Balance Workload: Assist in balancing the department workload to maintain efficiency.
- Compliance: Learn and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate: Work with other departments to ensure efficient financial operations.
- Has a bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
- Possesses 2+ years of supervisory experience.
- Understands the Accounting Process.
- Has strong analytical skills.
- Thrives in Excel.
- Is a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Is committed to providing exceptional service.
