What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Process payroll on a semi-monthly basis
- Conduct audits on timekeeping data and process vendor invoices
- Monitor HSA/FSA/IRA contributions for compliance
- Compile financial data for balance sheets and profit and loss statements
- Assist employees in understanding accounting policies and reporting requirements
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a relevant field
- 5+ years of relevant corporate accounting experience
- Familiarity with generally accepted accounting principles
- Experience with ERP systems and DCAA compliance requirements
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently or as part of a team
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Unanet or Deltek Cost Point
- Knowledge of Federal Government cost accounting principles and regulations
- Ability to obtain a government clearance
