Job Description
- Req#: 509579
- Liaise with professionals and assistants on an ongoing basis regarding trust transactions;
- Communicate with financial institutions to handle deposits, wires, investments, and pay out of trust funds;
- Strictly adhere to the trust rules provided by the Law Society of Alberta;
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma is required, with a preference for post-secondary education;
- Education and experience specific to accounting is preferred;
- 3 – 5 years of experience in trust transactions in a professional services environment is preferred;
- Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite;
- Ability to handle a heavy and varied workload;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Strong problem solving skills, including the ability to set priorities while dealing with conflicting and emerging priorities;
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with staff, professionals, and in a team environment.

PROFILE
We are looking for an Accounting Trust Clerk to join our team. Working in a team environment, our Accounting Trust Clerk will support trust transactions for the Calgary Office in compliance with the Law Society of Alberta.
The successful candidate will bring excellent attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, and utmost professionalism to the role.
