      Overview

      Accounting Clerk
      The Post Oak Hotel is seeking an Accounting Clerk to join the only double Forbes Five-Star Hotel in Texas. We hire passionate and professional colleagues who genuinely delight our guests through curated and authentic experiences.
      The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable job functions.


      Responsibilities

      • Assist management with daily and month end general accounting duties, month end closing responsibilities and balance sheet reconciliations
      • Ability to assimilate complex information, data, etc., from disparate sources and consider, adjust or modify to meet the constraints of the particular need
      • Understand and interpret financial information, hotel operations data, and basic arithmetic functions
      • Effective in handling problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems

      Qualifications

      • High school diploma required, prefer college degree.
      • Some accounting or office experience desired
      • Experience with Microsoft Office products is required
      • Experience with Oracle is preferred
      • Previous hotel experience, luxury or Forbes experience preferred
      • Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays is required.
      • Physical demands: sedentary work – exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects

      Posted Salary Range

      USD $18.00 - USD $20.00 /Hr.
