      Accounting Intern

      Position Description: Axis Automation is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Intern to join our team on a temporary, part-time basis for 10-15 weeks. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience and apply academic knowledge in a professional setting by assisting with the month-end close process at a leading Automation Integrator specializing in the design, construction, and installation of custom robotic factory equipment.

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Perform reconciliations of general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
      • Support the reconciliation of bank and credit card statements.
      • Prepare documentation and support for standard month-end journal entries.
      • Conduct research to identify and resolve discrepancies promptly and efficiently.

      Qualifications:

      • Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
      • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in data entry.
      • Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality when handling sensitive financial information.
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with experience in spreadsheet creation and data analysis.
