      Overview

      OSI Systems and its subsidiaries are a vertically integrated provider of specialized electronic systems and for components that meet the critical needs in the homeland security, healthcare, defense, and aerospace industries.       OSI Systems is seeking an Accounting intern to support the team in various projects.


      Responsibilities

      • Assisting AP Co-Ordinator with reports, statements, data analysis, and audits backups.
      • Working with other departments to gather, analyze, and interpret financial data.
      • Interaction with vendors to resolve payment issues and answer queries on payment follow up and gathering vendor banking information and tax forms when needed during vendor setups and vendor records update.
      • Reconciling credit card and bank transactions to maintain accurate financial records.
      • Handling payments of vendors and suppliers and ensuring timely and accurate disbursements on weekly basis.
      • Accurately entering invoice and general ledger data into the accounting records.
      • Verifying entries and balances to ensure accuracy in financial reporting during every month end closing.
      • Working with OSI Interco partners.
      • Calling and follow up Internal and external Vendors for AP and other related matters.

      Qualifications

      • Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university and pursuing a degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
      • Attention to detail
      • Must have good organization skills
      • Ability to multitask
      • Self-motivated
