      What you will do:

      • Files and maintains files on payments made to vendors, outstanding purchase orders, and audit receipts. Matches invoices with purchase orders, audit receipts, and (or) check requisitions noting proper authorization, account distribution, quantity, price, and vendor. Takes all discounts possible.
      • Keypunches data into A/P system and verifies.
      • Reconciles statements from vendors and investigates invoice payment questions.
      • Reconciles various balance sheet accounts.
      • Process customer invoices, including coding accounts on invoices, and matching the invoice to the underlying source documents for accuracy.
      • Assists with period end inventory for FPG.
      • Works on various projects and assignments, as required

      What you will need:

      • Current or recent enrollment in graduate or undergraduate degree program with an interest and aptitude to work in Accounting
      • Ability to read and write small letters and numbers. Ability to perform complex arithmetic calculations. Ability to maintain neat and orderly files and records.
      • Ability to understand instructions and communicate effectively in both written and oral form. Punctual attendance at assigned work location is required.
      • Ability to work in a safe and efficient manner and maintain an accident free work place, including ability to demonstrate a working knowledge of Medical Center emergency codes.
      • Ability to comply with OSHA regulations and CDC standard and transmission- based precaution recommendations and to utilize proper personal protective equipment. Ability to comply with provisions of applicable S.D.S. forms.
