Accounting Intern
Location: Old Dutch Foods – Roseville, MN
Schedule: 20–30 hours per week during standard business hours
Pay: $23.50 per hour - Paid weekly

Join our Finance & Accounting team at Old Dutch Foods and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, professional environment. This internship is ideal for a student or recent graduate seeking exposure to core accounting functions and practical experience with financial systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily transaction entry and data input.
• Support account reconciliations and participate in month-end closing activities.
• Scan, file, and organize financial documents for digital record-keeping.
• Process incoming and outgoing mail related to accounting functions.
• Contribute to tasks and projects across General Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Route Accounting.
• Assist in process improvement and document digitization initiatives.
• Provide general administrative support as needed by the accounting team.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed an associate or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Must pass a background check prior to employment.

Working Conditions:

• This position is based on-site at Old Dutch Foods in Roseville, MN.
• Flexible part-time schedule between 20–30 hours per week during standard business hours.
• May involve prolonged periods of sitting and occasional lifting of office supplies or files.
