Focused on a simple, convenient drive-thru only model, Salad and Go operates in more than 130 locations across Arizona, Texas, Oklahoma and Nevada and is expanding rapidly into new states.       The Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing a team along with certain month-end close activities, managing fixed assets and special projects as needed to streamline accounting operations. The Accounting Manager will be instrumental in structuring their team and accounting processes to successfully handle a rapidly growing brand of 130 locations and counting!

      Responsibilities

      • Lead and manage certain day-to-day accounting activities, including fixed assets, personal property tax renditions/filings, and special projects as needed
      • Lead accounting and/or audit-related projects, (i.e. implementation of additional Workday modules)
      • Develop monthly internal reporting for CAPEX vs. budget, utilizing Workday Projects
      • Develop and maintain a documented system of policies and procedures related to fixed assets
      • Implement a system of controls over fixed assets transactions
      • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders on complex accounting topics, as needed
      • Responsible for completion and review of certain balance sheet reconciliations
      • Prepare flux analysis of trends and variances to budget and forecast
      • Seek out "best practice" solutions to streamline accounting processes

      • Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
      • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification preferred
      • Workday Financials experience a plus
      • 5+ years of experience in accounting (some with a publicly traded company) required
      • Proven ability to lead, team-build, and develop others effectively
      • Accounting experience in a multi-unit, high growth, restaurant, or hospitality business preferred
      • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to collaborate with individuals at all levels of the organization
      • Ability to multi-task, prioritize work effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
      • Travel to the greater Phoenix area required
